Broken Bones

So this morning we were getting ready for school. It is quite the chore getting breakfast going, packing a lunch for Hannah, making sure hair is done, bags ready, shoes and socks that I have to tell Brennan a thousand times to put on. As we were just about ready to walk out the door, Hannah decides that she wants to try and get on the pull up bar that is on our door frame and is standing on a stool on her tip toes and falls backwards. She screams bloody murder so I go check on her and she wouldn't move at all. I picked her up from the floor and layed her on the couch to see what the matter was and had to run Brennan to the bus stop. She obviously did not go to school today. I was all ready to go to Jazzercise and had to get changed to take her to the doctors. They did an x-ray and showed that she broke her wrist on her right arm. She has a splint on right now and will get a cast next tuesday. This is her second broken bone in her life.

Well, I know it has been a super long time, but here we go. I just wanted to do a little update. Not a whole lot going on right now. John is going to school at University of Utah right now so it seems like we are always busy, but he gets a little break for christmas.

Last thursday we took the kids up to temple square to see the lights. It was fun and not too cold. Here are a few pictures.

Disneyland

So, I don't know if anyone knew or not, but we just got back from disneyland on monday. We went with John's family and it was so fun. We all took turns with the babies so everyone could ride the rides and then we enjoyed some time on our own. Hannah and Brennan had so much fun and were so excited because we have been planning this trip with his family for 2 years now. We decided 2 years ago on christmas that we were going to go, so we have been saving and getting the kids all siked up. It was wonderful weather there also. We had about 70 to 75 degree weather the whole time and then when we were leaving on sunday it was cloudy and looked like it might rain, so we got out in time and had fabulous weather.

Hannah got to meet some of the princesses, this is Belle if you did not know, and she loved that the most out of everything. She bought a book with her birthday money and got signatures from a lot of the characters. We had fun on saturday running around getting everyone's signature that we could find.

She also got a picture with Ariel.

We saw Mickey first thing on thursday. It was fun to see him and the kids were excited. They have been waiting to see mickey for 2 years now.

And of course we had to stay and watch the parade. The kids loved it so much.

Cambra had her baby on September 4th. She was 8 pounds 9 ounces and 21 1/2 inches long. Hannah was so excited to hold her. She will be a good cousin.

Hannah's first day of SCHOOL!!!

Well Hannah started school on tuesday last week. She loves it and says that her favorite thing about school is riding the bus. She has been really good and has not been scared at all. She is such a little social bug and on the first day of school, she got on the bus and forgot to say goodbye to me. I couldn't believe how excited she was. She did great. Here are some pictures from her first day. We got to follow her and take some pictures at school too.

Bees game

Brennan has been into baseball lately so we decided to go to the bees game and it was the last monday game of the season which is only 3 dollars per person. Such a deal. We went on the train and they got to hug the bee. I think the kids enjoyed the other stuff more than the game, but it was still fun. We also saw alot of friends there that the kids got to play with. It seems like everyone had the same idea we did.

Midnight 5K run

Last friday night we all ran a 5k. It was at midnight so we had John's mom watch the kids and they all had a sleepover at her house. It was a lot of fun and then we went to breakfast after at village inn. We all had a great time.

Brennan's Birthday!!!

We also celebrated Brennan's birthday. We went to the zoo and then my brother invited us to go over to his house to swim so we did that and had a barbeque and had cake. He picked out his own cake. He wanted the spiderman cake. I told you all that June was a busy month for us but I think that we are going to survive. We only have to last until monday and I think that we are there. Now we can enjoy the summer because most of the holidays are done.

My kids having fun with the warm weather. They like to climb in the playpen with him. I took it out to get some yard work done because he loves being outside. My baby sleeping in his crib. He was in a bassinet in our room up until about 2 weeks ago. It was hard to let him go.

Our 5 year anniversary

Well, I know I'm late, but I still have to say, John and I celebrated our 7th anniversary on June 21st. We had a great time celebrating. John was so cute and made a crown for us to wear and had a picture of a white horse and taped it on the car to be my prince picking me up on a white horse. He is so creative and that's one of the reasons that I love him. It is so weird to me that we have been married for that long and we have 3 beautiful children together. He is such a wonderful person and we have had a great journey together. We have our share of trials and I'm sure there will be more to come, but we sure are greatful for all the blessings because of them. We hope to have more great years together. I just wanted to let him know how much I love him and am so happy to share my life with him. Love you hon.

Well on saturday we had Hannah's birthday party. It went really well and the girls had a lot of fun. When everyone showed up, we all went downstairs and John was so funny, he was the store keeper and the girls had to pay play money to get there hair done. We had pizza first and watched enchanted. When the girls were done eating we started doing hair, nails and makeup. After they were done we went upstairs and had cake and icecream and then Hannah opened her presents. She had such a blast. That night we went to the drive-in movie. It is so weird that my baby turned 5 years old. I cannot believe that she is that old already. It just seems like yesterday that I had her. I will send some pictures of the party and the girls all done up. They had fun posing for the pictures.

Building the Shed

We put up our shed this weekend and Brennan had to be right there helping dad. He had a lot of fun hammering in the nails even though it wasn't really for anything. At the end of it all, he got so sleepy and fell asleep curled up with his blanky.

I took Hannah to the "What a woman wants" expo. She had a blast. They did an updo on her hair, she got a pink extension and the cute sparkley star on her cheek. She also got some "eye candy" on her eyes. It was a lot of fun to have a mommy daughter day with her.

John got home from Baltimore tonight. He was gone for 3 weeks. The kids were so happy to have him home, they missed him so much. So did I.

We went to the Joseph Smith family farm in Palmyra, Ny and also to Washington DC and here we are in front of the log home and then in front of the Lincoln memorial. Quinn got to come on the trip with me.
